Let's face it Saturday morning cartoons are dead. What better way to kick off your Saturday morning than with "The Dirty Duz'n" radio show? It's like waking up to find out Ben and Lucius are in your home goofing off and playing sweet tunes. Us guys are going to be giving this show 117% every Saturday morning. So wake up, get your self a bowl of Cap'n Crunch and tune in.
Adventures have been at a low recently, but Ben and I have not been resting on our laurels. For the last two weeks we have been going through extensive DJ training and testing. As of last night we are now official WUSC radio DJ's with our own 2 hour show. Now, due to being new DJ's we kind of got screwed on the time (We are got 6:00 - 8:00 Saturday morning). Also, as first semester DJ's we are required to have a free format show and only play music from WUSC's library. This essentially means we have to play half of our show of songs that are in 'rotation' and the other half is our choice from the library (which is absolutely huge so it should be no problem.)
Next semester we can bring in our own music and have the opportunity to apply for a specialty show. Can anyone say funk radio? Ahh yeah. So all we have to do is not completely f.u.b.a.r. this thing and we're golden.
For all of you out there not in Columbia you can stream our show online at http://wusc.sc.edu/ . There is a button that says "tune in: Webstream" that will open the show in itunes I believe.
